Patrick Kennedy is half American and half British. He has worked in film, theatre and television for 15 years. His credits include Bleak House, Boardwalk Empire, Parade’s End, Atonement, War Horse and Peep Show. His stage credits include Therese Raquin at the National Theatre and No Quarter at the Royal Court. He will next be seen in Mike Leigh’s Peterloo, Mrs Wilson for the BBC and The First on Hulu. He has also directed a short film, The Human Voice.  He can currently be seen in The Queen‘s Gambit for Netflix and was at this years Venice Film Festival with Miss Marx.

The role of Voggen, a sophisticated Neanderthal, is his favourite role so far.
