Pádraic is from County Wexford in the South East of Ireland, but London has been home for 8 years. Since graduating from Trinity College Dublin with a BA in Theatre Studies in 2001, he has worked extensively in film, TV and theatre. Notable theatre performances include Father Flynn in the UK premiere of Doubt at the Tricycle Theatre and the Michael Grandage Company production of The Cripple of Inishmaan on Broadway and a Midsummer Nights Dream on the West End playing Oberon opposite Sheridan Smith and David Williams. His first film, The Wind That Shakes The Barley won the Palme d’Or at Cannes in 2006. Recent TV work includes Knightfall for History Channel/Netflix and he can next be seen in Seacole due for release in 2023.
