Kai Owen is a London based actor. He graduated from Mountview in 1998. He has since worked extensively in theatre and television all over the UK. Kai is best known for his role as Rhys in the worldwide hit series Torchwood and as Pete in the ch4 soap Hollyoaks. Recently Kai has been seen on stage as Dave in hit show The Full Monty and on screen in The Accident for Channel4.  He is currently in rehearsals for The Glee Club with Out of Joint.

Kai loves cooking, eating and running! He has run the London marathon three times raising money for CLIC Sargent & the NSPCC.

He is a fluent Welsh speaker.
