Ciara Baxendale is an Actor and Voice Artist from Lancashire. Best known for her role as “Izzy” on E4’s cult dramedy My Mad Fat Diary, she has had a long career spanning Theatre, Film, Radio, and TV. More recently, her credits include roles in Neil Burger’s Inheritance and Steve McQueen’s Blitz.
In audio drama, Ciara has voiced a range of characters, including “Georgie Crusoe” in the award-winning sitcom Wooden Overcoats, “Josie” in Algorithms, and “Joan” in The Amelia Project. She also plays “Second Mate Av Mittoph” in Dark Dice, a Dungeons & Dragons actual-play podcast.
When Ciara was younger she wanted to be a police dog when she grew up.
